WP Tender vs ManageWP
Two fleet-management consoles, two pricing philosophies. Compare on backups, security, continuity and total cost for a 25-site fleet.
ManageWP (by GoDaddy) is a proven WordPress fleet tool. WP Tender bundles backup, security and continuity into a single subscription instead of breaking them out as add-ons or separate products. See the feature table and pricing scenario below to pick what fits your operation.
What ManageWP does well
ManageWP set the bar for managing many WordPress sites from one console. The free tier covers unlimited sites with monthly cloud backups, security checks, performance checks, client reports and one-click bulk updates — capabilities most competitors charge for. The premium add-on catalogue (Backups, Uptime, Security Check, SEO Rank, White Label, Vulnerability Protection) lets agencies pay per-site for exactly the features each site needs.

The architectural trade-off
That flexibility is also its architectural choice: each capability is metered separately, so a 25-site agency commonly ends up reconciling six or seven add-on lines per site per month. Premium Backups runs $2 / site / month; Vulnerability Protection (Patchstack-powered, launched February 2026) is another $2 / site; the all-in Bundle is $150 / month for up to 100 sites. Data residency is US-East by default; ManageWP runs on GoDaddy / AWS infrastructure with no per-account region selector.
Where WP Tender chose differently — and why
WP Tender bundles backup, recovery, plugin management, security scanning and continuity into a single per-fleet subscription — $65 / month for 25 sites (annual billing) or $160 / month for 100, with no add-on math. We made that choice because agencies told us they would rather price-in resilience than itemize every line each month, and because continuity (live replication + one-click failover) is simply not on the ManageWP roadmap. If you prefer pay-per-feature granularity, ManageWP is the more flexible fit; if you'd like the resilience features bundled, that's WP Tender.

Pricing snapshot
How the math works: ManageWP math: Backups $2 + Security Check $1 + Vulnerability Protection $2 = $5 per site × 25 = $125/mo. The All-in-One Bundle at $150/mo covers up to 100 sites and is the better deal once you cross ~30 sites. WP Tender Pro on annual billing is $65/mo flat for 25 sites ($780/yr); monthly billing is $79/mo. Agency on annual billing is $160/mo flat for 100 sites ($1,920/yr); monthly is $199/mo — the closest direct comparison against the ManageWP Bundle. Both numbers exclude any cloud storage egress.
Common questions
Is WP Tender a ManageWP alternative?⌄
Yes. WP Tender covers the same multi-site dashboard surface (backups, plugin management, monitoring, migration, security scanning) and adds live replication / continuity that ManageWP does not offer. Pricing is flat per-fleet instead of per-site-per-add-on.
How do WP Tender pricing and ManageWP pricing compare for a 25-site agency?⌄
WP Tender Pro on annual billing is $65/mo flat ($780/yr) for 25 sites with backups, security scanning, continuity, plugin management and migration bundled. Monthly billing is $79/mo. ManageWP with comparable add-ons is roughly $5/site/mo, or $125/mo for 25 sites — the $150/mo Bundle becomes cheaper above ~30 sites.
Does ManageWP offer live replication or hot-standby continuity?⌄
No. ManageWP focuses on backup snapshots + restore. Live replication / hot-standby is provided by hosts (e.g., WP Engine), not fleet-management dashboards. WP Tender includes Scheduled and Instant sync modes plus one-click failover.
Can I migrate from ManageWP to WP Tender without losing my backup history?⌄
Your existing ManageWP backup snapshots stay where they are — in your S3/Dropbox/Drive bucket or on ManageWP infrastructure. WP Tender doesn't import them; it just starts fresh schedule and retention on each paired site. You can keep both running side-by-side during a switchover.
Is my data hosted in the EU if I use WP Tender?⌄
On the SaaS plans (Free/Starter/Pro/Agency), our metadata + screenshot store is in our default region. For EU-only data residency, the Enterprise plan ships a Docker image you self-host in any region you choose.
