WP Tender vs BlogVault
Two different recovery philosophies — "restore from the freshest snapshot" vs. "the standby is already serving." See which fits your RPO and RTO.
BlogVault (managed backup + staging) is a proven WordPress fleet tool. WP Tender bundles backup, security and continuity into a single subscription instead of breaking them out as add-ons or separate products. See the feature table and pricing scenario below to pick what fits your operation.
What BlogVault does well
BlogVault has earned its reputation as the most reliable WordPress backup-and-recovery service. Real-time backups on the WooCommerce tier, cloud-hosted staging with merge-back-to-live and visual diff, a tight MalCare security pairing, and a track record of clean restores under pressure — recent hands-on reviews report 13 out of 13 successful backups on WooCommerce. If your workflow is "build, stage, push to production," BlogVault is the most polished tool in that category.

The architectural trade-off
The architectural choice is per-site, per-year licensing on BlogVault-managed storage. Personal $99/yr (1 site) or $299/yr (5 sites); Business $299/yr (1 site) or $899/yr (5 sites); WooCommerce $499/yr (1 site) or $1,499/yr (5 sites). That model is great for individual high-value sites — predictable storage costs, no BYO bucket — and scales linearly across a fleet. For larger fleets, custom pricing kicks in at 10+ sites.
Where WP Tender chose differently — and why
WP Tender aims at operators whose RPO / RTO requirements are tighter than "restore from yesterday's snapshot." Continuity is treated as a live, replicating fleet property rather than a recovery procedure: every save_post / post_meta / options write streams to the standby within a second, and one click promotes the standby to live. If your concern is "the snapshot exists when I need it," BlogVault is excellent; if your concern is "the standby is already serving when production goes down," that's the gap WP Tender fills.

Common questions
Is WP Tender a BlogVault alternative?⌄
For multi-site management and backups, yes. WP Tender adds live continuity (replication + failover) that BlogVault does not offer; BlogVault has cloud-hosted staging that WP Tender does not (we use site-to-site migration to stand up a staging copy on demand).
Does BlogVault offer live replication?⌄
No. BlogVault's real-time backup (WooCommerce tier) keeps a continuously updated snapshot — restore is still a separate step. Live replication / hot-standby is not in their product surface.
Where are BlogVault backups stored vs WP Tender backups?⌄
BlogVault stores backups on its own managed infrastructure (Amazon S3 underneath). WP Tender backups land on your own WordPress hosting first, then optionally stream to your S3 / R2 / Google Drive bucket. Different trade-off between "managed for you" and "your data in your buckets."
How does WooCommerce backup compare?⌄
BlogVault is industry-standard for WooCommerce — real-time order capture in the WooCommerce tier. WP Tender supports WooCommerce sites the same as any WordPress site: scheduled or on-demand backups, cloud destinations, full restore. For high-volume stores where every order matters, BlogVault Real-Time is the safer choice today.
Can I use both?⌄
Yes. Some agencies use BlogVault for individual high-value e-commerce clients and WP Tender for fleet-wide monitoring, plugin management and continuity. The two operate independently on each site.
